Let the Glory of the Lord come in!

It is 9/11/25 as I sit here trying to write this month’s newsletter.

My heart is heavy. The assassination of Charlie Kirk is coupled with the senseless murder of Iryna Zarutska. I think that it is more disturbing in nature of not just her stabbing, but the perception of indifference to what just took place. I could not tell from the videos if people actually realized she was stabbed or just crying. She was clearly disturbed and crying and no one checked with her. It made me think of the scripture..

And many lying prophets will arise, deceiving multitudes and leading them away from the path of truth. There will be such an increase of the sin of lawlessness that those whose hearts once burned with passion for God and for others will grow cold. But hold your hope firmly to the end, and you will experience life and deliverance.

I believe the King James says hearts will wax cold meaning to blow out the warmth of the soul. We were given the Holy Spirit and Fire to burn for God and for people. We were given this baptism by Yeshua to proclaim and demonstrate the power of the Good News found in our Messiah and King.

Not only that, but I was also heartbroken to hear a great general in the Faith, at least among Rhema circles, recently passed. I believe she was only in her sixties. She seemed too young to have passed suddenly, it seemed. I am not sure of the circumstances at the time of this writing. She traveled with Brother Hagin many moons ago, and started a few bible schools and traveled the world. She was prophetic and known for her ministry of prayer and teaching on being intimate with the LORD.

 Many people have passions of lust, politics, sexual orientation, and belief. There are many subjects that we can try to voice our opinion about but I thought she said it so well.

To endure to the end we must be passionate about Jesus Himself most of all. He is the reason death is defeated. It is the reason that those who are absent from the Body are present with the LORD. People need hope. Christ in us, the hope of Glory.

I remember when my grandmother, Shirley who is Brother Gary Hess’ mother, she had passed in 2003. I was still at Rhema at the time. She had a stroke and I rushed up as many of the family had. She seemed unconscious. I had laid my hands on her wanting to pray for healing. She actually snarled and then looked so sad. She never did open her eyes or speak, but I knew then she wanted to go home. That was hard to accept at the time, but I understand better now.

Sometimes people are just ready to be with the LORD.

It is we who are left behind that grief is given. We mourn with those who mourn. We can mourn with Erika, Charlie’s wife and two children. We can mourn with Tony, Patsy’s husband and her family. They are not grieving, they are in Heaven enjoying themselves. The loss belongs to the earth.

At the time of losing my grandmother I knew nothing would be the same again. I was in her basement. Usually, when we were young, we stayed down there and above the pullout couch/bed we slept on was usually a chalkboard where we would draw a picture and/ or a message right before we left for her to  read later.

All I could do was cry knowing she would never read our messages again. In the weeping and crying I heard the Spirit say.

“ Arise Shine!!”

I knew He meant Isaiah 60. Here it is in the Passion translation:

Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned,

And YAHWEH’s glory now streams from you!

Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick clouds covers the nations, but YAWEH arises upon you. And the brightness of His Glory appears over you!

Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.      Is. 60:1-3

Your heart may be heavy today with loss or anxiety or wondering what to make of it all. I beseech you brothers and sisters Arise and Shine, for your Light has come!!

Yeshua is that light in us, and we are to radiate His love and fire until the world sees and hears. The Anointed One in us the hope of the Glory that has come!! Here is how John said it..

And the Living Expression (The WORD) was with God, yet fully God. They were together-face to face, in the very beginning.

And through His creative inspiration this Living Expression (The WORD, the eternal Message, Elohim made visible) made all things, for nothing has existence apart from Him!

A fountain of life was in Him for His life is light for all humanity. And this Light never fails to shine through darkness-

Light that darkness could not overcome!

Right after I heard that Charlie had actually passed, I heard in my spirit…

“Death is not the believer's defeat.”

Between the memory of the Towers and all these tragedies we are hearing and seeing in these days just remember to endure means to shine. You are a Glory carrier and are to Arise and Shine for all those around you now left behind.

I encourage you to not be downcast or worried about tomorrow but I also know that our present sufferings cannot compare to the Glory that awaits us.

If you are in Yeshua then you have His light. Walk in the Light.

A city on a hill cannot be hidden. We will not hide nor will be be hidden or silenced. We are more than conquerors through Christ.  Because He does Live we can face tomorrow.
